Library Giving Day
For 2025, the Library Foundation has taken on the mission to give well-suited, reading-level books to every kid and teen who registers for SCLD’s summer reading.
Last year’s program and book giveaway was a success, so we are expanding it in 2025 to include preschool readers (ages 0–5) along with children and teens ages 5–17.
To achieve this and promote reading and literacy, the Foundation has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 for Library Giving Day.
Your donation to Library Giving Day (100%) goes directly to covering the costs of providing books to kids and teens this summer.
